One of my best friend's Elise is an endless source of obscure and amazing music. Her iPod is constantly a juke box of all the music I'd never heard of but always wished existed. So when she told me Brett's friend's band was playing a show in Silverlake, I knew I would love it. The music was danceable and electrifying. The crowd was filled with young hip people who were thoroughly enjoying themselves and that kind of energy spreads through an audience like wildfire making this one of the most fun shows I've been to in a long while.

Nightmare and The Cat is comprised of two brother's lead singer Django James and Samuel Stewart. They happen to be the sons of Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics and Siobhan Fahey of Shakespeare's Sister. I was a little too giddy when I heard that because as a kid I loved Shakespeare's Sister and remember choreographing dance moves for a school talent show to their song "Stay". Django James also happens to be dating model Georgia Jagger whom I was standing next to for most of the show and didn't even recognize until days later. When I first saw her I thought to myself, "wow, that girl is insanely pretty". Not to mention she had on the most amazing yellow dress that looked like Versace or Moschino paired with zebra print Doc Martens.
