High up in the sky beyond the tree tops and the haze is there a beautiful woman, the Queen of the Sky, sitting at a spinning wheel weaving the clouds? Modern science seems to suggest the answer is "no". My imagination suggests the answer is "yes". Okay, perhaps there isn't a mystical lady weaving the colors into the sky, but this season there are a plethora of wonderful designers weaving cumulus and volcanic clouds, rain drops and storm fronts into fantastic frocks. From lightening blazing across Risto Bimbiloski dresses to volcanic plumes of ash rising from Carven's collection, the weather has never been hotter. Kaelen Farncombe a New York-based designer of the line Kaelen, has always found inspiration in the weather. Just check out those floaty, dreamy silk dresses with that invoke a watercolor sky. There is no better time to have your head in the clouds.
