It's a lazy weekend visiting Seattle, a few rain clouds in the sky and the occasional sprinkle. A perfect day for a visit to the Pike Place Market in an equally lazy outfit. I love a goof oversized "grandpa" cardigan, my favorite go-to for coziness and comfort. I also love a good pair of wellies for puddle jumping. Loeffler Randall makes the best galoshes ever because they look like rubber versions of their Matilde boot with which I am completely enamored.

Seattle is my hometown and I never really appreciated it until I moved away. "You'll miss the mountains," they would say pointing to the Cascades, "and the view of ferries on the Puget Sound." I shook my head then, but now I know they were right. I guess it's easy to become disillusioned with the city you grew-up in. Luckily my family is still there, so visiting is always an option and a great escape from the craziness of LA. Hello Mount Rainier, I've missed you. Hi there Space Needle, it's great to see you again.
